Sport Live Casino – Live! The Casino & Hotel’s newest addition, Sports & Social, will open April 29, adding more games, an abundance of video screens for sports fans to watch games and, once Maryland lawmakers approve it, the , sports betting is legalized.

It is the first Sports & Social to open in Maryland. A second location will open at the Pike & Rose development in Bethesda this fall.

Sports & Social Live! The casino is a $12 million addition that replaces her former center stage performance venue in the center of her casino.

The nearly 14,000-square-foot, 212-seat venue features a state-of-the-art audio/visual system with more than 100 linear feet of LED screens, including a 47-foot-wide main screen. The casino says guests will be able to watch at least 10 games at a time.

It also has two main bars, VIP lounges, tiered sports chairs, casino games including blackjack and roulette, and interactive social games including mini-bowling and giant football.

Live! The casino already has a partnership with FanDuel and, pending final approval, the new venue will have several betting options, including self-service kiosks and sales windows.

There’s Sports Betting At Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia

Maryland voters approved a ballot initiative to legalize sports betting in 2020. A bill to do so has already passed the Maryland House and Senate and is awaiting Governor Larry Hogan’s signature. Legal betting in Maryland could begin as early as the fall.

Sports & Social’s North Bethesda location will be about half the size of the Live! place, but it will always be flooded with video screens. It will also have an outdoor patio and live music.

Sport & Social is a division of Live! Cordish Companies Casino and Hotel Owners. It recently opened other new venues at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Louis, Live! Casino in Pittsburgh and Life Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia. There are others at the Atlanta Braves’ Truist Park, the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park and the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.

Called Sport & Social, the sports bar is set to offer customers another choice later this year, the ability to play sports.

The national Sports & Social brand, owned by Maryland Live! Owner The Cordish Cos., has entered into a partnership with sports betting platform FanDuel Group that will allow people to place bets both on-site at the Arundel Mills casino and from a mobile device.
